2024 Music Legends George Michael Two Ounce Silver Proof Coin

Officially licensed 2oz silver proof George Michael collectors coin from The Royal Mint’s sought-after Music Legends collection. These £5 coins are from a limited edition presentation of just 350, which is significantly lower than previous releases in the popular series that previously featured British artists like David Bowie, Queen, Elton John, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Dame Shirley Bassey and The Police. 2024 George Michael coins celebrate the life and legacy of one of the best-selling musicians of all time. The singer-songwriter found fame as part of the pop duo Wham! and later launched a successful solo career. This premium silver coin features a reverse design by acclaimed artist Sandra Deiana, which shows George Michael’s signature look from his debut solo album, Faith, including his iconic sunglasses. This exclusive engraving is paired with Martin Jennings’ definitive coinage portrait of King Charles III to the obverse, which also displays the denomination (£5). Struck in 62.86 grams of 999 silver with a fine proof finish, this UK commemorative coin is offered in its original printed Royal Mint packaging with a display box and a numbered certificate of authenticity included.
