The last coin in the commemorative Outbreak to Armistice series, this £10 coin marks the moment that the guns fell silent during the Great War. The reverse of this silver proof coin shows a moving image of a lone soldier, holding the helmet of a fallen comrade. This poignant and reflective scene is the work of sculptor Paul Day. It is joined on the obverse by the regal fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. This five oz piece is struck in 156.295 grams of 999 fine silver. It's from a limited mintage of 525, and is offered in its original Royal Mint packaging with numbered certificate of authenticity.
